Chena payasam is a tasty and simple payasam recipe, made with green bengal gram, jaggery and nuts.

Directions
Soak the green bengal gram overnight and boil it. Heat ghee in a pan and add cashew nuts, raisins,Chironji, saute it and add pressed rice, boiled green bengal gram saute it for a minute then add milk, cardamom powder, boil it till the poha is soft. After 5 minutes add jaggery, sugar, cook it for 2 minutes, in a slow flame. Serve hot.
